Office Manager/Adoption Coordinator

Alyssa Pierce is the Office Manager. Her cheerful voice is usually the first to greet you. She is easy to talk to, kind and caring. When you need something done or someone to talk to, she’s “the one.”

Alyssa’s work frequently takes her out of the office. She’s always available to take birth mothers to doctor appointments and help with other pregnancy-related needs. Alyssa’s role as a friend is invaluable in keeping birth mothers and adopting parents informed and reassured throughout the adoption process.

Alma Wallace

Financial Administrator

For the past ten years, Alma has managed the financial side of adoption planning at the Sacramento Adoption Center.

She works with the Center, she says, because the staff is dynamic, caring, ethical and friendly -- and because she respects how and what the organization does for its clients.

Tom Volk

Adoption Attorney

Adoption attorney Tom Volk opened the doors to the Sacramento Adoption Center in 1992. Tom studied law in Boston, then settled in California and soon began using his legal skills to help make a difference in the lives of children through adoption.

Tom has helped hundreds of birth families find a safe and loving home for their babies.
